An amazing recreation of the events that made the Scots rise up against the ruthless Edward Longshanks.  The battle scenes are realistic and brutal, attempting to portray the horrors that men had to endure in those unbelievable times. Gibson does a fine job of portraying William Wallace and of directing the movie at the same time.  It's a movie worth watching and is moving, touching and horrific at varying times throughout the near three hours it runs for.  Go watch it!
