The story of the conception of a new British weapon for smashing the German dams in the Ruhr industrial complex and the execution of the raid by 617 Squadron 'The Dam Busters'.
What a classic movie this is, from the inception of an idea to the execution of a strategy that helped change the face of WW2. It's a shame the snowflakes got their way and edited the name of Guy Gibson's dog out of the movie because it is classed as an offensive word today. To me that is re-writing history and that's wrong. However, it doesn't detract too much from the essence of the movie. A real gem and a real classic that everyone should make time to watch.
